Lorenzo's Dog Training Team - Garfield Heights

Garfield Heights Djurskötare

Professional Dog Trainers

Do you genuinely love dogs? Perhaps you never seriously considered that you could have a rewarding career while working with great dogs every day. With nearly 80 million dogs in the United
States, the need for certified, professional dog trainers is growing. That’s why we’re here.

Lorenzo’s Dog Training Team wants to train new candidates to become certified professional dog trainers.

This type of career choice isn’t for everyone. Professional dog training requires a wide range of skills that few people possess. To be successful in our business, you’ll need much more than a general love of dogs. You must also love people. Our training consultants spend a majority of their workday meeting with new people, demonstrating our professional dog training techniques, and closing new sales. We also work directly with other animal professionals such as veterinarians, groomers, and rescue group administrators. A professional appearance, positive attitude, friendly personality, great organizational skills, salesmanship, and an understanding of marketing are qualities in your toolbox that are just as important as the actual ability to train dogs.

Are you…
• Self-starting and entrepreneurial?
• Motivated by business challenges?
• Attracted to unlimited economic potential?
• Driven by reaching milestones?
• Organized, focused, and responsible?
• Able to operate independently and think on your feet?
• Comfortable communicating with other professionals and prospective clients?
• Comfortable meeting new dogs with a wide range of behaviors?

We’re not offering a job and we’re not seeking employees–this is an entrepreneurial career opportunity for serious, business-minded people. Qualified candidates receive concentrated, curriculum-based instruction at our Cleveland, Ohio training facility by experienced, certified Lorenzo’s professional dog trainers. After passing our 4-week course, certified trainers return to their markets across the country as Independent Contractors. With us, your earning potential is limited only by you. To qualify, you’ll need a minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D., a valid driver’s license, your own reliable transportation, and the ability to conduct yourself comfortably with new dogs and their owners.
